Give an example of a set.

1) Given that A={2,3,5,7,11,13}, describe the set in words.

2) Given that set B is the collection of natural numbers, list the elements in B.

Activity 3

State a set. And use set notation to represent the number of elements in the set.

Example:
B={10,15,30}
n(B)=3

Activity 4

C={x:x is a positive integer such that a < x≤ b}
Select values for a and b and hence list the elements in set C.
